Overview
Last updated: June 4, 2026
This CCPA/CPRA Notice provides additional information for California residents. It explains categories of personal information we may collect, why we collect it, how it may be shared, and the rights that may be available under California privacy law.
Categories of Personal Information
We may collect identifiers such as name, email address, account ID, IP address, and cookie identifiers; commercial information such as products purchased and order history; internet or network activity such as page views and website interactions; approximate location derived from IP address; and support or communication records you send to us.
Business Purposes
We use personal information to operate BitcoScript, process orders, provide downloads, manage licenses, prevent fraud, secure accounts, answer support requests, improve product pages, perform analytics, maintain records, and support advertising or marketing where permitted.
Sharing, Selling, and Advertising
BitcoScript does not sell customer account records in the traditional sense. However, some advertising or analytics activities may be considered “sharing” under California privacy law when third-party cookies or similar technologies are used for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can control some of these activities through cookie settings, browser tools, and available opt-out mechanisms.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of certain sharing or sale activities, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. These rights are subject to verification and legal exceptions.
Submitting a Request
To submit a California privacy request, contact us by email. Please include the email address connected to your BitcoScript account or order so we can verify the request. Authorized agents may also submit requests where allowed by law, but we may require proof of authorization.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage purchases and licenses, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet accounting or legal obligations, and maintain security records.
